back in the saddle

Climbing in the mountains is a true love of mine. Lucky for me, I'm in the mecca for such riding.

Golden Gate Canyon is the perfect training ground and is one of those good rides just out the front door...



This was especially painful after spending a week at sea level, but totally worth it as I got to spend a few days with the love of mine.

It's almost official

Well, as I said before, Volkswagen pulled their sponsorship at the end of 08, so Trek has started the Trek Racing Co-Op - which is the name of the new team. I've been leaning towards this option as the people who work at Trek are great. Although the sponsorship is a smaller one, the fact that they're still looking out for their riders from last year speaks well of the company. I still look forward to competing at the highest level, training and racing harder than ever before.

A big thanks to Scott Daubert for taking care of the riders from 2008.
