Yesterday, Rod received a box in the mail. Turns out, it was full of the new Fray album - including the film, 'Fair Fight'. We finally got the special edition and the packaging looks great.
Good job Mr. Blackhurst. It's finally a done deal....

'Fair Fight' Review
Rod and I held a private screening of the film last night, and immediately following the show, Dave Herrera posted his review:

you can always tell . . .
. . . when you're about to suffer. I did my first group ride this weekend with Brian 'on fuego' fuentes, Collin 'the german engine' Becker, Megan 'my last name is Monroe so I don't need a cool nickname' Monroe, Jen 'The Jenerator' Gersbach, Ward 'the rookie' Baker, and Erin 'Huckstable' Huck. (and rode with 'handsome' Rob Batey the day before - for an honorable mention).
It's good to see these people. They make me suffer. They make me laugh. They make me better.

Rod, you should check out my new post...
Well, per a friendly filmmaker challenge, Rod and I are vigorously working on our music videos hoping to create interesting art. It seems Rod 'raised the stakes' and posted more images on his blog from his music video. So, I had to add more to mine...
The funny thing is, Rod was a huge part of the vignette scenes with Libby - which, I believe, turned out great. Speaking of Libby, I can't thank her enough for helping me out with this.

a new video
Here are a couple of teaser images from the new video for 'Called and You Came' by At the Emporium.
Rad Rod Blackhurst and I shot music videos in our respective home towns over Christmas. Each of us had some friends who started bands and we decided we should do a little creative exercise. Kurtis and Adam (the guys from the band) were great and willing to do whatever. In addition, Kurtis' wife was the all-star PA/Everything Else Person while Dave was the acting producer and got us into an old Woolworth's building. There is a copious amount of post-production required for this video, so I'm hoping to get it done as soon as I can.
BTW- those are the beautiful blue eyes of my girlfriend, Libby . . .

Trek - Volkswagen
Well, its been a while since I last wrote anything in here. There are a few reasons for this: I've been busy, I've been traveling, and, of course, the holidays. However, the biggest reason was the waiting game all of us at Trek-Volkswagen were in. Rumors were circulating about Volkswagen's involvement in 2009.
Well, news officially came that Trek-VW called it quits.
I'm currently working out details for next year and will have an announcement soon. (for all of my family who reads this anyway...)
