A ruling in favor of teammate Sue Haywood may have cleared up a messy situation that occurred in 2004, but what's a chance to go to the Olympics worth? (Especially after dedicating your life to reaching that goal...)
I posted that too... she's such an amazing rider but better yet person on and off the bike! I did a road cycling (yes road bike) stage race with her 2 yrs ago and learned so much, class act. USA Cycling needs a "change"
Originally from North Dakota, I moved to Colorado and fell in love with mountain biking - and cycling in general.
Since turning professional on the mountain bike in 2006, I've been chasing the dream of racing in as many places as possible and meeting great people involved in the sport. Having never really been athletic growing up, I've found that it's never too late to try something new. After finishing 80th (out of 87) in a sport class field, I never thought this sport would be for me. As of this year, I've been fortunate enough to chalk up almost 30 wins since turning pro - some big and some not so big!
I'm humbled by the support my family, friends and sponsors give me. Without them, I would undoubtedly not be in the place I am today.
